U.S. 65/69 detoured at Iowa 92 in Indianola

Road construction will detour traffic on U.S. 65/69 in Indianola beginning July 1, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation's Chariton construction office.

Traffic will be detoured from the junction of U.S. 69/65 and Iowa 92 to Iowa Ave. and 15th Street, back to U.S.69/65 in Indianola until July 21, weather permitting.

The Iowa DOT asks motorists to drive with caution and obey posted signs in construction areas. As in all construction zones, drivers should stay alert, don't speed, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
