Slow moving maintenance restricts traffic on I-74 In Quad Cities today

AMES, Iowa – Feb. 25, 2009 – Patching work on Interstate 74 in the Quad Cities will restrict the roadway to one lane in each direction today, according the Iowa Department of Transportation.

Iowa DOT crews will be patching I-74 from exit 4 (U.S. 67) to exit 298 (I-80) until approximately 3 p.m. today.

The Iowa DOT urges motorists to use caution in the area, obey posted signs, reduce distractions and always wear seat belts.
