Proposed safety improvements to U.S. 169 south of Humboldt to be discussed June 11
AMES, Iowa – May 28, 2009 – Proposed safety improvements on U.S. 169 from Iowa 7 in Webster County to the south corporate limits of Humboldt will be discussed at a public meeting Thursday, June 11, 2009, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT).
The Iowa DOT will hold the meeting at the Humboldt City Hall, Council Chambers, 29 Fifth St. S. The public is invited to attend anytime between 5 and 6:30 p.m.
No formal presentation will be made at this meeting. The primary purpose of the meeting is to show how property owner access will be maintained within the reconstruction limits in the Humboldt County portion of the project just south of the city of Humboldt. Iowa DOT staff members will be available to discuss the proposal informally with interested citizens.
