Proposed bridge rehabilitation in Pocahontas County to be discussed Oct. 8 in Rolfe
AMES, Iowa – Sept. 24, 2009 – The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) will hold a public information meeting Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, in Rolfe to discuss the proposed rehabilitation of a bridge on Iowa 15 over Beaver Creek two miles north of Rolfe in Pocahontas County. The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Rolfe Community Center, 319 Garfield St.
This public information meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. No formal presentation will be made. Iowa DOT staff members will be present with plans, displays and related information to discuss the projects informally.
Iowa 15 traffic would be detoured on Pocahontas County roads N-65 and C-15 during construction.
