Lane closure on northbound I-74 Mississippi River bridge in Bettendorf tomorrow

DAVENPORT, Iowa – Nov. 30, 2009 – Bridge lighting repairs will close the northbound (Iowa-bound), right lane of the I-74 Mississippi River bridge at exit 4 (Grant Street and U.S. 67/State Street) in Bettendorf from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Davenport maintenance office. Brief delays can be expected.

 

The lane restriction also includes the closure of the I-74 on-ramp at River Drive in Moline, Ill.

 

Motorists should find alternative routes, if possible.

 

The Iowa DOT urges motorists to use caution in the work zone, obey traffic control signing, reduce distractions, and wear seat belts.
