Travelers warned of flash flooding in northeast Missouri

AMES, Iowa – Nov. 18, 2009 – The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT), in cooperation with the Missouri DOT, is warning travelers entering Missouri from Iowa to be aware of potential flooded roads in the northeast part of that state.

 

Missouri DOT is watching several roads in the northeast area that could be closed due to potential flash flooding. Numerous other roads are currently closed. All closures can be found at http://www.modot.org/ on Missouri’s traveler information map.
