Initiation of field studies on U.S. 63 corridor south of Ottumwa to be discussed March 23

AMES, Iowa – March 12, 2010 – The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) will hold a public information meeting Tuesday, March 23, 2010, to discuss the initiation of field studies and project design for the U.S. 63 corridor from Floris Road (Davis County Road J-15) north to Mary Street in Ottumwa. The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Wapello County Conservation Board, Pioneer Ridge, 1339 Highway 63. Pioneer Ridge is located approximately one mile south of 20th Street near the Wapello-Davis county line.  

 

This public information meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. No formal presentation will be made. Iowa DOT staff members will be present to discuss the project informally.
