Revised detour during replacement of the Cold Water Creek bridge on Iowa 14 near Greene to be discussed March 16

AMES, Iowa – March 4, 2010 – The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) will hold a public information meeting Tuesday, March 16, in Greene to discuss the revised detour of Iowa 14 to be used during  replacement of the bridge  over Cold Water Creek, 1.1 miles south of Greene. The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Greene Public Library, 231 W. Traer.  

 

This public information meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. No formal presentation will be made. Iowa DOT staff members will be present to discuss the revised detour.

 

Iowa 14 traffic will be detoured using Butler County Road C-23, Butler and Floyd County Road T-47 and Floyd County Road B-60 during construction.
