Proposed alternatives for improvement of U.S. 61 in Louisa County to be discussed Oct. 18

AMES, Iowa – Oct. 4, 2012 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Thursday, Oct. 18, to discuss proposed alternatives for improvement of U.S. 61 in Louisa County from  Iowa 78 north to 130th Street.

The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Briggs Civic Center, 317 N. Water St. in Wapello. 

This public information meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvement. No formal presentation will be made.
