AMES, Iowa – Feb. 21, 2013: 11 a.m. update – Iowa travel conditions are expected to deteriorate rapidly late this morning in southern Iowa, this afternoon in the central part of the state and this evening in northeast Iowa. Significant snowfall and high winds will cause visibility to diminish very quickly, with periods of whiteout conditions.
