Lane Restrictions on I-80 Bridges Over Indian Creek Begin April 1 #iatraffic
MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – March 28, 2013 – Contractors will be closing one lane in each direction on the Interstate 80 bridges over Indian Creek in Jasper County beginning Monday, April 1, weather permitting, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Marshalltown construction office. Motorists will be restricted to one lane in both directions during this project.
This bridge deck joint repair project is expected to be completed by May 15.
The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles and wear seat belts.
