Iowa Transportation Commission to meet June 10 and 11 in Council Bluffs

AMES, Iowa – June 7, 2013 – The Iowa Transportation Commission will hold its next business meeting Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at the Mid-America Center, One Arena Way in Council Bluffs.


Following their business meeting, the Commission will host a public input meeting. Four such meetings are held around the state each year.

Transportation tour

On Monday, June 10, the Commission and Iowa Department of Transportation staff will tour transportation projects in southwest Iowa starting at 9 a.m. from the Iowa DOT’s District 4 Office, 2210 E. Seventh St., in Atlantic and ending around 3 p.m. at the Country Inn and Suites, 17 Arena Way, in Council Bluffs. Transportation-related matters may be discussed, but no action will be taken on the tour.

 

Informal meeting

Also on Monday, June 10, the Commission will meet informally with staff from the Iowa DOT beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the Mid-American Center, One Arena Way, in Council Bluffs.
