I-29 ramp closures in Sioux City begin Oct. 9 for 45 days #iatraffic

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Oct. 8, 2013 – Ramp reconstruction work in Sioux City will require closing two Interstate 29 ramps (listed below) beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s District 3 Office in Sioux City.

In addition to the two ramp closures, U.S. 20/U.S. 75/I-129 will require an outside lane closure at that interchange.

Eastbound U.S. 20/U.S. 75/I-129 entrance ramp to northbound I-29 will be closed. Entrance ramp traffic to northbound I-29 will be detoured to I-29 southbound; to Singing Hills Boulevard; onto Singing Hills Boulevard; then to northbound I-29.

Northbound I-29 exit ramp to westbound U.S. 20/U.S. 75/I-129 will be closed. Exit ramp traffic will be detoured to the Floyd Boulevard exit; onto Floyd Boulevard; then to southbound I-29.
