Iowa Transportation Commission to meet in Perry June 10

AMES, Iowa – June 5, 2014 – The Iowa Transportation Commission will hold its next business meeting Tuesday, June 10, at the Hotel Pattee, 1112 Willis Ave., in Perry. The day before the meeting, the Commission will tour transportation projects in central Iowa and conduct an informal workshop session at the Hotel Pattee.

Monday, June 9
Transportation tour
The Commission and Iowa Department of Transportation staff will tour transportation projects in central Iowa starting at 9:30 a.m. from the Hotel Pattee in Perry and ending around 3 p.m. back at the Hotel Pattee. Transportation-related matters may be discussed, but no action will be taken on the tour.

Informal workshop session
The Commission will meet informally with staff from the Iowa DOT beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the Hotel Pattee. The following transportation-related matters may be discussed, but no action will be taken during the meeting. The items are listed in no particular order and may be discussed at any point during the workshop.
