AMES, Iowa – Feb. 27, 2015 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Tuesday, March 10, to discuss the proposed improvements to Iowa 160/Southeast Oralabor Road between Windover Drive to the east of Interstate 35 in Ankeny. The proposed project involves improving intersection operations with pavement widening, additional turn lanes at the Delaware intersection and I-35 exit ramp terminals, and updated traffic signals.
All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting anytime between 5 and 6:30 p.m. at the Ankeny Fire Station #1, 120 NW Ash Drive. The meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made.
