Preliminary study of Iowa 17 in Boone County to be discussed June 28 near Ames

AMES, Iowa – June 16, 2016 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Tuesday, June 28, to discuss the preliminary study of Iowa 17 from approximately 0.5 mile north of U.S. 30 north and east approximately 3 miles in Boone County.

All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting anytime between 5 and 6:30 p.m. at United Community School, 1284 U Ave., near Ames.

The meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the study. No formal presentation will be made.

The meeting space is accessible for persons with disabilities. However, if you require special accommodations at the meeting, please notify the Iowa DOT contact listed below by June 23.
