Iowa Transportation Commission to meet in Mason City April 11

AMES, Iowa – April 6, 2017 – The Iowa Transportation Commission will hold its next business meeting Tuesday, April 11, at the Historic Park Inn, Seven W. State St., in Mason City.

On Monday, April 10, the Commission will tour transportation projects in central and north central Iowa and conduct an informal workshop session at the Historic Park Inn.

Transportation tour
The Commission and Iowa Department of Transportation staff will tour transportation projects in central and north central Iowa starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Iowa DOT’s headquarters at 800 Lincoln Way in Ames. The tour will end around 3 p.m. at the Historic Park Inn, Seven W. State St., in Mason City. Transportation-related matters may be discussed, but no action will be taken on the tour.

Informal workshop session
The Commission will meet informally with staff from the Iowa DOT beginning at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 10, at the Historic Park Inn.
