Heartland Tire & Auto Center to award a Central Iowa military family with a free set of tires.

Heartland Tire & Auto Center, in partnership with Bridgestone, will present a free set of tires to an Ankeny, Iowa, military family at a ceremony lead by Polk County Supervisor Steve Van Oort, Iowa Department of Transportation's Motor Vehicle Enforcement Chief Dave Lorenzen and Heartland Tire representative Travis Thompson.

Tires are an important part of vehicle safety. The presentation ceremony will promote tire and vehicle safety awareness to support safer roads across the state. With ongoing campaigns to keep Iowa’s roads and drivers safe, the Iowa DOT has never been more committed to Iowans’ wellbeing on the roads. And Heartland Tire, a family-owned business serving central Iowa and providing tires, auto repair, vehicle protection and maintenance, is leading this initiative to support safe summer driving.
