Iowa Transportation Commission to meet in Shenandoah Aug. 8

AMES, Iowa – Aug. 3, 2017 – The Iowa Transportation Commission will hold its next business meeting Tuesday, Aug. 8, at the Edward May Family Community Center, 1000 Mustang Drive, in Shenandoah.

On Monday, Aug. 7, the Commission will tour transportation projects in southwestern Iowa and conduct an informal workshop session at the Edward May Family Community Center.

Transportation tour
The Commission and Iowa Department of Transportation staff will tour transportation projects in southwest Iowa Monday, Aug. 7, starting at 9 a.m. at the Shenandoah Inn & Suites, 620 W. Sheridan Ave., in Shenandoah. The tour will end around 3 p.m. at the Shenandoah Inn & Suites. Transportation-related matters may be discussed, but no action will be taken on the tour.

Informal workshop session
The Commission will meet informally with staff from the Iowa DOT beginning at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, at the Edward May Family Community Center, 1000 Mustang Drive, in Shenandoah.
