AMES, Iowa – Sept. 25, 2017 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Thursday, Oct. 5, to discuss proposed improvements on U.S. 71 from Iowa 3 to the south junction of Iowa 10 in Buena Vista County.
Through traffic on U.S. 71 would be detoured during construction using Iowa 3 and Buena Vista County roads M-44 and C-13. For more information, see the website listed below.
All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 200 Main St., in Sioux Rapids. The meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made.
