Repair work scheduled for I-380


CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Pavement patching work is scheduled for I-380 Saturday, March 1, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s (Iowa DOT)
Cedar Rapids office.

Lane closures will be used in the areas as needed. The Iowa DOT asks motorists to drive with caution, stay alert, watch their speed, wear their seat belts, and use extra caution when traveling through the area.

Cold-mix asphalt materials to repair potholes will be used for the temporary pavement patching. Using these materials is a necessity during the winter months when Iowa 's hot-mix asphalt plants are closed.

In addition to Saturday’s repair work, the Iowa DOT has scheduled an overlay pavement project the I-380 corridor between I-80 and Cedar Rapids during the upcoming construction season.
