24th Street traffic lane restriction set for Wednesday

ATLANTIC, Iowa – The Iowa Department of Transportation's (Iowa DOT) Council Bluffs Interstate System (CBIS) improvements project will require traffic changes next Wednesday, May 28 to accommodate paving work north of the 24th Street bridge.
The paving will require a one-day closure, weather permitting, of one of the lanes for the delivery of material. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained.
The Iowa DOT has established a CBIS Web site, www.cbinterstate.com, with additional information on the 24th Street and other CBIS projects. On the site, media and the public can sign up for e-mail alerts with more details about specific projects and their traffic impacts.
