AMES, Iowa – The Iowa Department of Transportation's (Iowa DOT) Office of Rail Transportation has scheduled a primary highway–railroad crossing rebuild on Iowa 144 in Grand Junction to begin June 2, weather permitting. The construction project on Iowa 144 in Grand Junction includes the complete rebuilding of the railroad crossing and installation of new approaches.
