Traffic on Iowa 92 in Madison County will be restricted to one lane from Madison County Road P-53 to U.S. 169 beginning Monday, June 30, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation's (Iowa DOT) Creston construction office.

Motorists will be assisted through the work zone by flaggers and a pilot car. Traffic will be restricted to a 12-foot width limit in the construction zone.

Work is expected to be completed by mid-August, weather permitting.

The Iowa DOT asks motorists to drive with caution and obey posted signs in the construction area. As in all construction zones, drivers should stay alert, watch their speed, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear their seat belts.
