UPDATE - Ankeny motor vehicle center power outage

ANKENY , Iowa – June 26, 2008 – 9:55 a.m. The Iowa Department of Transportation's Motor Vehicle service center in Ankeny is currently experiencing a power outage. All operations at this site have been suspended. Employees are being sent home.
Motor carrier permitting is suspended until operations resume.
Iowans needing driver's license services should go to the permanent driver's license station in Ames or the Jasper, Warren or Dallas county treasurer's office for assistance. The Polk County treasurer's office does not offer driver's license services.
