Eastbound I-80 lane restricted in Dallas County for construction work

CRESTON, Iowa – Aug. 29, 2008 – The installation of temporary flood lighting on Interstate 80 in Dallas County will restrict traffic to one eastbound lane at exit 104 (Dallas County Road P-57) from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 4, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s District 4 maintenance office.
The open lane is restricted to a 14.5-foot lane width limit.
The Iowa DOT asks motorists to drive with caution and obey posted signs in the work area. As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, obey posted speed limits, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
