Barrier rail work to close lanes of U.S. 20 at I-380 overnight next week

NEW HAMPTON, Iowa – Sept. 24, 2008 – Overnight work on U.S. 20 barrier rails at Interstate 380 in Black Hawk County will cause lane closures next week, according the Iowa Department of Transportation’s (DOT) New Hampton construction office.
The project is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 28 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday morning.
The Iowa DOT asks motorists to drive with caution and obey posted signs in the work area. As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, obey posted speed limits, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
