Westbound I-80 lane restricted in Poweshiek County for maintenance work

AMES, Iowa – Dec. 26, 2008 – Maintenance activities on Interstate 80 in Poweshiek County will restrict traffic to one westbound lane between exit 182 (Iowa 146) and exit 191 ( U.S. 63), according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s District 1 maintenance office.
The right lane closure is scheduled to begin this morning at 9:30 a.m., and reopen Friday, Dec. 26 at 10:30 a.m., weather permitting.
Use caution in the work zone. Obey all posted signs. Allow ample space between vehicles, minimize distractions and always wear your seat belt.
