Intermittent lane closures today on I-80 at I-74 exit in Davenport

DAVENPORT, Iowa – Jan. 28, 2009 – Intermittent lane closures will be in place today on Interstate 80 at the Interstate 74 exit (exit 298) in Davenport for maintenance operations, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Davenport maintenance office.
The bridge inspection operation will cause intermittent lane closures on both directions of I-80 until approximately 3 p.m. today.
Motorists are urged to use caution in the work zone, allow ample space between vehicles and minimize distractions.
