CRESTON, Iowa – Feb. 26, 2009 – Weather permitting, eastbound Interstate 80 in Adair County will be reduced to one lane March 2 for construction activities, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Creston construction office. The work had originally been scheduled for Feb. 24.
The work zone will be located from mile post 75 to mile post 76. Workers are expected to be in the area from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting.
The Iowa DOT urges motorists to caution in the area, obey posted signs, reduce distractions and always wear seat belts.
