Guardrail repair closes right lane of northbound I-280 in Davenport today

DAVENPORT, Iowa – March 30, 2009 – Guardrail repairs will close the right lane of northbound Interstate 280 west from the Mississippi River bridge to Iowa 22 interchange (exit 8) today, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT).
The guardrail repair is expected to be complete by 3 p.m. this afternoon, weather and schedules permitting.
The Iowa DOT urges motorists to use caution in the area, obey posted signs, reduce distractions and always wear seat belts.
