Intermittent lane closures on I-35 in Warren and Polk counties today

AMES, Iowa – Road maintenance operations will cause intermittent lane closures in both directions of Interstate 35 between milepost 52 (Warren County) and milepost 67 (Polk County at Iowa 5).
Maintenance crews are scheduled to wrap up for the day by 3 p.m.
The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines double in work zones. As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles and wear seat belts.
