Options Iowa 330 intersections to be discussed April 7


AMES, Iowa – March 24, 2009 – The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) will hold a public meeting Tuesday, April 7, between 5 and 7 p.m., at the Baxter Community Building, 203 S. Main St., to discuss options for the proposed modification of the U.S. 65/Iowa 330/Iowa 117 and Iowa 330/Jasper County Road F-17 intersections.

A short presentation will be made at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the various options considered for the intersections improvement, including the “J-turn” concept. Iowa DOT personnel will be available anytime between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to individually discuss the improvement options.
