Bridge work will restrict traffic on U.S. 34 to one lane in Ottumwa

CHARITON, Iowa – March 13, 2009 – Construction of a new bridge will cause traffic disruptions and restrict traffic on U.S. 34 to one lane in both directions in the city of Ottumwa between Church and Bardell streets beginning March 26, weather permitting, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Chariton construction office.
