Road work scheduled on Iowa 83 east of Avoca

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa – April 29, 2009 – Road work is scheduled to begin the week of May 26 on Iowa 83 east of Avoca, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Council Bluffs construction office. The project includes patching, cold-in-place recycling and asphalt resurfacing the highway from Avoca east 17 miles through Walnut and Marne to Iowa 173.
