Possible relocation of Iowa 31 west of Correctionville to be discussed Sept. 10

AMES, Iowa – Aug. 28, 2009 – The possible relocation of Iowa 31 along the existing Aspen Avenue alignment west of Correctionville between Iowa 31 and U.S. 20 will be discussed at a public meeting Thursday, Sept. 10, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT).


The Iowa DOT will hold the meeting at the Correctionville City Hall, 312 Driftwood St. The public is invited to attend anytime between 5 and 7 p.m.


No formal presentation will be made at this meeting; however, details of the possible improvement will be discussed. Iowa DOT staff members will be available to present related information and discuss the possible relocation informally with interested citizens.
