Design enhancements for the U.S. 218/Bremer County Road C-50 (Barrick Road) planned interchange at Janesville to be discussed Oct. 13

AMES, Iowa – Sept. 30, 2009 – The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) will hold a public information meeting Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, in Janesville to discuss the design enhancements, including the construction of roundabouts at the ramp intersections for the planned U.S. 218/Bremer County Road C-50 (Barrick Road) interchange. The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Janesville Riviera-Roose Community Center, 307 Maple St. (Old U.S. 218).

This public information meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. No formal presentation will be made. Iowa DOT staff members will be present with plans, displays and related information to discuss the project informally.
