Proposed modifications to U.S. 65/Iowa 5 ramp connection in Polk County to be discussed Nov. 10


AMES, Iowa – Oct. 30, 2009 – The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) will hold a public information meeting Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, in Carlisle to discuss the proposed modification of the U.S. 65/Iowa 5 ramp connection on Iowa 5 east of the east U.S. 65/Iowa 5 interchange in Polk County. The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 5 and 6 p.m. at the Carlisle City Hall, 195 N. First St.

This public information meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. No formal presentation will be made. Iowa DOT staff members will be present to discuss the project informally.
