I-29 south of Sioux City now open

AMES, Iowa – Feb. 16, 2010 – 11 a.m. – The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) is reporting that southbound Interstate 29 is now open from the Singing Hills Boulevard interchange in Sioux City (exit 143) south to Onawa (exit 112). This was the last section of the interstate to remain closed following a winter storm that began on Sunday.
