Bridge construction work on I-35 to cause delays June 2

CHARITON, Iowa – May 27, 2010 – Bridge construction work on Interstate 35
at exit 33 (U.S. 34 at Osceola) will cause traffic delays of up to 20 minutes on Wednesday, June 2, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Chariton construction office.

 

The bridge construction work is expected to be completed by the evening of June 2.

 

The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles and wear seat belts.
