AMES, Iowa – Sept. 29, 2010 – The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) will hold a public information meeting Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, to discuss proposed replacement of the bridge on Iowa 130 over Sugar Creek, 1.6 miles east of Tipton. The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 4:30 and 6 p.m. at the Tipton Public Library, 206 Cedar St.  

This public information meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. No formal presentation will be made. Iowa DOT staff members will be present to discuss the project informally.

During construction, traffic would be detoured using Iowa 38, U.S. 30 and Cedar County Road X-64.
