Traffic pattern changes on U.S. 30 near Tama/Toledo set for Nov. 1

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – Oct. 28, 2010 – Traffic on U.S. 30 will be shifted from just east of M Avenue to the U.S. 63 interchange on the east section of the Tama/Toledo bypass Monday, Nov. 1, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Marshalltown construction office.

All westbound traffic will exit at U.S. 63 and go north to the existing U.S. 30 roadway. Eastbound U.S. 30 traffic will go south on U.S. 63 to the U.S. 30/63 interchange.

Westbound U.S. 30 traffic may experience delays at the ramps as they exit onto U.S. 63 and at the intersection when traffic turns left onto the existing U.S. 30 roadway.

The remainder of the U.S. 30 bypass from U.S. 63 to the west is scheduled to be open by Nov. 25.
