Roads in western third of Iowa now snow covered

Oversize load movements restricted during inclement winter weather

Design changes made to new Iowa 2 bridge at Farmington

FAIRFIELD, Iowa – Jan. 6, 2011 – The new Iowa 2 bridge being constructed over the Des Moines River at Farmington will be raised approximately three feet from the initial design currently under construction, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s (DOT) District 5 office in Fairfield.
