U.S. 30 bypass of Mount Vernon and Lisbon alternatives to be discussed March 10 in Mount Vernon


AMES, Iowa – Feb. 24, 2011 – The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) will hold a public information meeting Thursday, March 10, 2011, to discuss alternatives for the U.S. 30 bypass of Mount Vernon and Lisbon. The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. at the Mount Vernon High School Commons, 731 Palisades Road SW. 

This public information meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. No formal presentation will be made. Iowa DOT staff members will be present to discuss the project informally.
