Iowa DOT News Release

AMES, Iowa – July 29, 2011 – 1 p.m. update – The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) is reporting the southbound lanes of U.S. 151 are now open near Fillmore. The road was closed yesterday due to flash flooding. The northbound lanes are predicted to open later this afternoon.

U.S. 52 between Dubuque County Roads D-10 (near Sageville) and Y-21 (near Rickardsville) is the only remaining closure due to flooding early yesterday in northeast Iowa.
