Iowa DOT Motor Vehicle Enforcement arrests suspected felon

AMES, Iowa – Oct. 31, 2011 – On Oct. 20, investigators with the Iowa Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Office of Motor Vehicle Enforcement arrested William John Moyer in Des Moines on an arrest warrant for six counts of use tax evasion, a Class D felony. A Class D felony is punishable by up to five years in prison and up to $7,500 in fines. AMES, Iowa – Oct. 28, 2011 – The Iowa Department of Transportation’s (DOT) driver’s license station in Iowa City will have limited services available on Saturday, Oct. 29, due to a computer server outage.
