Side road connection alternatives to Iowa 150 to be discussed Nov. 10

AMES, Iowa – Oct. 31, 2011 – The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) will hold a public information meeting Thursday, Nov. 10, to discuss side road connection alternatives for the curves on Iowa 150, 4.5 miles north of Independence.

The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 5 and 6:30 p.m. at the Buchanan County Courthouse, 210 Fifth Ave. N.E. in Independence. 

This public information meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format.  Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the connection alternatives. A short presentation will be made at 5:30 p.m.
