NEW HAMPTON, Iowa – Nov. 16, 2011 – Road construction work is nearing completion on U.S. 18 between Fredericksburg and West Union. A current lane closure on U.S. 18 in the area of Fayette County Road V-68 is expected to be removed Friday, Nov. 18. AMES, Iowa – Nov. 16, 2011 – Over the Veterans Day holiday weekend, the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) restored traffic on Iowa 333 into Hamburg.
