Apparent low bidder named for I-380 reconstruction

AMES, Iowa – March 20, 2012 – The Iowa Department of Transportation is announcing the apparent low bidder for reconstruction work on a 6.49-mile stretch of Interstate 380 in the city of Evansdale from the U.S. 20 interchange north to River Forest Road.
Cedar Valley Corp. LLC of Waterloo submitted the apparent low bid of $12,748,608.40.
The Iowa DOT has developed a website at http://www.iowadot.gov/i380/ to provide ongoing information related to the I-380 revitalization project.
The site includes project details, corridor facts, a project timeline, emergency detour routes, and photos of the project area and construction activities.
