U.S. 61 improvement alternatives to be discussed Sept. 6 in Mediapolis
AMES, Iowa – Aug. 23, 2012 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Thursday, Sept. 6, to discuss improvement alternatives for U.S. 61 in Des Moines and Louisa counties from Memorial Park Road in Burlington north to one mile north of Iowa 78. The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Mediapolis High School, 725 N. Northfield St.
This public information meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvement. No formal presentation will be made.
